ABSTRACT. In this paper , in order to solve the confusion of the effect of temperature gradient between pure tungsten electrode and water-cooled copper crucible on the ingot microstructure in the melting . CoCrFeNiCu high-entropy alloys (HEAs) were fabricated by arc-melting , and its microstructures were investigated through Scanning electron microscope (SEM) , X-ray diffraction(XRD) and Energy dispersive spectrum (EDS) . It is found that the FeCoNiCrCu HEAs in the present study could form solid solution with face-centered cubic (FCC) structures and no changes have occurred in phase structure , but the atomic percentage is not the same in different positions of CoCrFeNiCu HEAs ingot .
